Famed SPARK is a well-proven, economical, functional and durable patient transport trolley, proven in dozens of countries. The antibacterial properties of plastic and lacquered elements are combined with low maintenance costs and unparalleled durability.
The side rails protect the patient over a length of 1500 mm. They have no sharp edges and dangerous points where fingers can get caught. The high maximum load capacity of 250 kg allows for the safe transport of heavier patients with the necessary equipment. Antibacterial nanotechnology with pSilver™ nanoparticles in the lacquer, plastic elements and mattress cover facilitates disinfection and reduces the number of bacteria. Stable, large wheels facilitate transportation even on uneven surfaces, ensuring complete stability of the stretcher.
The stretcher is compatible with mobile X-ray equipment (bedside X-ray, C-arm). Optionally, tunnels for X-ray cassettes can be installed. Height adjustment arms on both sides allow for patient monitoring while changing the height. The stretcher is compatible with a variety of accessories, such as a shelf for medical monitors, a fifth wheel, an oxygen cylinder holder and others. An optional mattress with safety straps and handles is also available for transporting patients between products. An easy-to-use two- or three-piece mattress pallet is also available for easy positioning. A large-capacity basket in the base is used to store patients’ personal belongings, making it easy to keep things tidy.
There is no gap between the bed and the stretcher when moving the patient – this minimizes the workload on hospital staff and reduces the risk of falls. The side rails not only go under the mattress, but also under the mattress platform of the stretcher – this makes it easier to slide off the mattress safely when standing up and protects the rails from damage. Two pairs of handles help to move the stretcher through hospital corridors. In addition, there is an additional ergonomic push handle on the backrest. The steerable wheels and the optional 5th wheel make manoeuvring extremely easy, even with heavy patients.

Contoured and streamlined design
The rounded shape of some parts of the SafeDrop™ side rails ensures easy and quick disinfection. The absence of sharp edges and pinch points protects patients and staff from injuries.
The structure of the SafeDrop™ side rails has successfully met the stricter requirements for hospital stretchers than the standard – SPARK has been tested according to the PN-EN 60601-2-52 standard.
In addition, the side rails can withstand more than 100 kilograms of vertical pressure. During laboratory tests, impacts from different sides were also tested, which proved the stability and strength of the structure. The SafeDrop™ side rails are lowered under the mattress platform along their entire length, so they do not pose an obstacle for the patient when leaving the stretcher. Thanks to the well-thought-out structure, the distance between the stretcher and the hospital bed during transfer has been reduced to practically zero.
Famed SPARK side rails work perfectly with the side rails of our beds. This guarantees greater safety for patients and reduces the physical load on staff. The SafeDrop™ side rails can be lowered with one hand and their contoured design significantly speeds up cleaning.

C-Arm Integration
The large space between the base and the mattress platform allows the use of a C-arm.
Tunnels for X-ray cassettes
The optional X-ray tunnels are located directly under the mattress platform (the tunnel in the backrest area is accessible from the front of the stretcher, in the other segments the cassette can be inserted from the side). The tunnels are compatible with standard-sized X-ray cassettes (both film and digital).
Transfer mattress (optional)
The mattress has transfer handles, ergonomic cutouts and sliders on the bottom that make it easy to transfer. The mattress is X-ray permeable.
Thanks to the well-designed frame, you can easily get to the radiology room or use a mobile X-ray machine thanks to the X-ray permeable mattress platform. You can even use a C-arm – in all such situations, SPARK will be your faithful partner in everyday work. You can also order a version with X-ray tunnels and use X-ray cassettes.
EASY TO MANEUVER AND HANDLE
Proven durability of the stretcher with modern operating methods and easy maneuverability in hospital corridors.
Two pairs of steering arms (two of them optional)
The Famed SPARK has two pairs of handles with which the stretcher can be easily steered in hospital corridors. Two handles at the ends of the legs and two handles next to the backrest (optional). This allows the stretcher to be easily maneuvered, even when transporting heavier patients (up to 250 kg). In addition, the backrest provides an additional ergonomic handle for pushing the stretcher.
Wheel locking
Large wheel locks located on the patient’s leg side, on both sides of the stretcher, allow the frame to be locked and unlocked from three sides. Two additional locking arms are available on the head end side (optional). This makes the work of the medical staff easier and allows them to concentrate on the patient.
Large wheels
The large wheels with a diameter of 200 mm and high ground clearance ensure stability and increase the mobility of the stretcher. This allows for quick and safe movement through hospital corridors and the transport of patients even on uneven surfaces.
Steerable wheels
They make it easier to navigate long corridors and tight turns and allow the stretcher to be driven by even one person. The steerable wheels can be activated using the wheel locking lever.
Optional fifth wheel
The fifth wheel is a great feature that makes driving and maneuvering the stretcher even easier.
Famed SPARK mattress
The Famed SPARK comes standard with a 80 mm or 100 mm thick black mattress with a durable antibacterial cover that provides high resistance to disinfectants and water resistance. The mattress filled with T35 foam guarantees patient comfort. Cutouts in the corners and a four-point Velcro® fastening system ensure easy handling by medical staff. The foam cutouts reduce pressure on the spine and prevent deformations when adjusting the segments.
WW-14 transport mattress
An optional mattress designed for transferring patients from stretchers to beds and other medical equipment. In addition to the features and characteristics of the Famed SPARK standard mattress, the WW-14 also has durable handles and safety straps for safe patient transfer. Special sliders at the bottom of the mattress make it easy to move, so even one person can transfer the patient.
