You can fully utilize the capabilities of this advanced bed using the central control panel, remote control or side rail panels. One-button bed positions, SoftDropPlus™ one-hand side rails and angle indicators make it easier for healthcare staff. The column design, ABS covers and fully removable platform sheets make it easy to disinfect the bed. The patient-friendly side panels allow for treatment even for myopic patients. Full-length side rails protect the patient from falls. The constant distance between the rails prevents fingers and hands from getting trapped, and the 9 handrails ensure safe and comfortable repositioning and getting out of bed. Double automatic regression reduces excessive pressure on the lumbar spine in the sitting position. Plastic and lacquered parts are made with antiseptic pSilver™ technology. The central roller lock, the possibility of fixing the bed functions on the central panel and unrestricted access to the CPR arm give the staff full control over the bed.

Patient weighing system
The patient weighing system measures weight with an accuracy of 100 grams and allows medical staff to monitor certain parameters of the health of patients in the intensive care unit.
Side rails along the entire length of the bed
SoftDropPlus™ rails protect the patient from falling out of bed while sleeping. This safe solution is also ideal in situations where the patient is confused and panicked. The side rails of our intensive care bed actually extend below the mattress platform, which, combined with the low height of the mattress platform, facilitates daily care, transfer to a stretcher or early mobilization of patients.
The central control panel is equipped with an early patient mobilization system, which is divided into 3 phases and can be activated with special buttons. The use of this solution in the Famed NANO bed not only improves the comfort of the staff, but also allows patients to recover faster, as they can stand up and perform simple muscle therapy exercises under the supervision of a physiotherapist. The application of the different phases of very early mobilization requires an assessment of the patient’s condition.
One-handed operation
The side rails of the Famed NANO SoftDropPlus™ can be activated with a single button and are accessible from both sides of the CPR arm, allowing the bed to be operated with one hand, which facilitates the work of medical staff and allows them to fully concentrate on patient care. The optional foot brake allows you to operate some of the bed’s functions without using your hands.
Column design
The stable, two-column design provides a safe environment for the patient and medical staff and allows for C-arm X-rays. The simple design also helps to reduce the time required for disinfection.

Central panel
The central panel offers multiple positions that the bed automatically adjusts to when a dedicated button is pressed.
The Famed NANO can be adjusted to rescue and examination positions, Fowler position, cardiology chair position and three vascular positions. The CPR function can be activated electrically via the panel. Some functions of the hand-held remote control or the patient panel can be disabled by the staff via the central panel. This prevents accidental changes in the bed position and the patient from being placed in a position that is not suitable for their condition, which could have a negative impact on them. The panel also has a built-in flashlight.
VEM central panel
The central control panel allows you to activate the examination position, rescue position, Fowler position, cardiology chair position, CPR and three vascular positions with the help of pre-programmed functions at the touch of a button. In addition, there are three VEM (Very Early Mobilization) settings, an activation button, locks, a power disconnect indicator, and a battery status indicator.
Patient control panel
The control panels on the inside of the side rails allow patients to adjust the bed position according to their needs. Patients can also use the nurse call system and turn on the under-bed lighting.

The early mobilization panel on the outside of the side rails allows the patient to adjust the bed height (the lowest height of the bed is 390 mm). The patient can lean on the side rails and simultaneously adjust the bed height to a position that helps them get out of bed.
Remote control
Allows the patient to adjust the bed position, such as height, backrest angle, thigh angle and automatic contouring.
Foot control
Allows the patient to adjust the height and work with and assist the patient while moving the bed. You can also choose the optional foot brake, which has height adjustment and longitudinal tilt.
A central panel with many options, a wired remote control for setting the most important positions, a VEM panel and controls for the patient and caregiver mounted on the side rails guarantee functionality and comfort.

Easy access to CPR
Conveniently used, easily noticeable levers are located on both sides of the bed, regardless of the position of the side rails – throughout the entire range of motion of the backrest. The proximity to the patient allows you to constantly monitor his condition when lowering the backrest in a life-threatening situation.
The top can be fixed to the bed frame
The head and footrests are attached to the bed frame with intuitive button fasteners. This ensures better stability when moving the bed through hospital corridors and provides solid support for the patient’s legs during rehabilitation exercises and standing up.
Constant distance between the rails
The constant distance between the elements ensures comfortable and safe use, preventing accidental hand entrapment. The movement can be initiated with one hand, while the other hand is used to protect the patient. The gas springs provide quiet and smooth lowering.
The headrest can also be used as a CPR support.
The quick-removable headrest can be used as an additional resuscitation support. In addition, the unique design of the side rails, which are lowered below the bed level, provides unrestricted access to the patient during resuscitation.
Dual autoregression
The dual autoregression reduces excessive compression in the lumbar spine in a sitting position. Excessive pressure on the tissues damages the capillaries, which leads to tissue damage and the formation of wounds and ulcers, which is one of the causes of pressure ulcers. Pressure relief is therefore a preventive method of treating pressure ulcers and promotes rapid healing in patients.
Central wheel lock and alarm for open wheels
The levers on both sides of the bed allow for easy and quick locking of the bed – they can also be operated from the front. The clear color coding of the lever position and acoustic signal make it easy to recognize the brake position. In addition, the bed is equipped with an unlocked wheel alarm that signals the staff if the wheel locking system is not locked.

pSilver™ technology
The plastic elements contain silver nanoparticles – this guarantees lifelong protection and less proliferation of viruses and bacteria. We also use a similar antibacterial additive in the lacquer powder. Famed Żywiec has been offering and refining this technology for several years.
Column structure
The construction based on two stable columns significantly reduces the number of corners and places where dirt can easily accumulate. This allows for quick and easy disinfection.

A smart solution: panels that fill the mattress.
The reduction in the number of elements that need to be disassembled for cleaning, as well as the reduction in the number and size of gaps between the HPL elements, means a reduction in cleaning and disinfection time ( ). The mattress platform covers 91% of the surface, protecting the actuators and the pantograph frame from dirt.
