Side rails and safe patient transport<\/p>\n
The side rails of the Famed STRIDER are designed to ensure maximum patient safety at all stages of the time spent on the stretcher. The structure of the side rails has successfully met the stricter requirements for hospital stretchers, STRIDER has been tested according to the PN-EN 60601-2-52 standard. In addition, the side rails can withstand more than 100 kilograms of vertical pressure. Laboratory tests also tested impacts from different sides, which proved the stability and strength of the structure.<\/p>\n
The side rails extend their entire length below the mattress platform, so they do not pose an obstacle to the patient when getting off the stretcher. Thanks to the well-thought-out structure, the distance between the stretcher and the hospital bed during transport is practically zero. Mattress<\/p>\n
The stretcher is equipped with an 80 mm or 100 mm thick polyurethane foam mattress, the cutouts of which reduce pressure on the spine and minimize the mattress\u2019s wobble when the bed section is adjusted. High-density polyurethane foam is used conforms to the patient’s body shape, providing greater comfort and safety. The black mattress cover is made of waterproof and antistatic material to prevent the penetration of liquids. Special cutouts in the corners of the mattress make it easier to handle the stretcher and care for the patient. In the four-section stretchers, the mattress has special stitching to make it easier to adjust the position of the foot section. Choose a different color cover to match the aesthetics of the institution.<\/p>\n
Optionally, the stretcher is available with a high-density foam transport mattress, reinforced leatherette cover, handles for easy movement and patient safety straps.<\/p>\n

Height adjustment<\/p>\n
The height of the mattress platform is adjusted using intuitive, easily recognizable, brightly colored levers. The grey lever, supported by a hydraulic pump, raises the bed. The bed is lowered by pressing the green and red levers simultaneously. The height adjustment range is between 560 and 890 mm.<\/p>\n
Trendelenburg and anti-Trendelenburg tilt<\/p>\n
The Trendelenburg position is activated by pressing the red lever, which lowers the mattress at an angle of 15\u00b0 on the patient\u2019s head side. The anti-Trendelenburg position is adjusted by pressing the green lever (15\u00b0).<\/p>\n
Backrest adjustment<\/p>\n
The backrest section is adjusted using a lockable gas spring, and special cutouts in the bed make it easy to operate. Backrest adjustment is available in both two-part and four-part mattress platform versions. The adjustment range is between 0\u00b0 and 80\u00b0.<\/p>\n
